I'm with you there. Why do bad things have to happen to amazing people? D':

I know not fair at awl D: I'm surprised Pterry fans haven't pooled together fore some sort of bucket-related challenge to support Alzheimer's research (and though I would gladly do a liquid nitrogen bucket challenge for Alzheimer's research, it's a little too dangerous for the Roundworld [unless is there a safer Discworld-related bucket challenge that I just can't think of right now...])

I'm sure we've all donated when we can, it's just that whatever cure could possibly be discovered... well, it's unlikely it'll be done in the next few years. I guess we could do a CMOT Dibbler sausage challenge but I cannot attest to that being safer or more dangerous than aforementioned liquid nitrogen D:

Truu, it's unlikely that there will be a cure for Alzheimer's in Pterry's or or lifetimes *sob sob* but if would say a lot if there was some sort of Discworld related Alzheimer's fundraiser or way of donating to Alzheimer's in the name of Discworld...and as for a CMOT Saussage Challenge, I'll stick with the liquid nitrogen challenge, much sayfer, considering the Leidenfrost effect, which is unlikely to be found in a CMOT sausage D: I think I'm overanalyzing this *makes like Rincewind and runs away*

At least his wife and children are all very creative and might take over Discworld in the aftermath. :] But I hold out hope that, since Alzheimer's is exacerbated by inactivity of the neurons and slowed considerably if one works out the brain, that someone as intelligent and creative as Terry has some time yet.Β
The Leidenfrost effect is all well and good but doesn't it only last for a limited time? D': So if you're soaked in the stuff and it lingers on your skin for more than a few seconds, we might have to be waking you up in the distant future when Cryogenics becomes more common. Oh wait... that's a solution to the Terry problem that we haven't explored yet >_>

2) That clapping animation makes me think of the bits in Monty Python's Flying Circus with the stock footage of applauding old ladies. XD
3) *takes cookie and throws it in the window of Unseen University*

Ah, my apologies ma'am. =] Sorry for the assumption; the only other person to ever get it right was dude xD Now, I'm going to sit back and watch the magick fly as the wizards fight over the biggest cookie in existence.

I actually get mistaken for a guy a lot on the Internet. I think it's because of my speech patterns.
If I could draw better, I would actually draw that. Mustrum Ridcully, the Bursar, the Dean and the Librarian fighting over a giant cookie while Ponder Stibbons tries to ignore it. Although that cookie is probably going to end up in Hex somehow as ant food... XD

TyrineCarver In reply to KeplerNova [2013-11-22 02:35:44 +0000 UTC]
I get that. xD Also because when one uses a genderless icon, the majority of the population automatically assumes male upon first virtual encounter I think...
Anyhow. xD That is an absolutely amazing scenario. Biggest cookie ever. xD Perhaps made by Glenda Sugarbean to cement the amazingness of the ungodly pastry. xD

That is probably true.
Good thing the cookie didn't end up in or nearΒ Lancre, or we'd get the biggest Ogg feud ever. XD
