A couple of quarters ago, I had an assignment involving building something with 3-D Prims in Second Life. The assignment is long since over, but for some reason, I still find myself logging onto SL once in a while. Mainly because of the incredible amount of exotic places to explore I think. Yup.

It really is a great MMO :3 Depending on where you are; it can be a role-playing area (Original RP or otherwise. There is a Gotham City, A Middle-Earth and a Coruscant) or a secluded place to relax, have a drink, dance, have sex, whatever. If you stray into the gothic regions though you have to watch out for werewolves and vampires who are constantly trying to increase their ranks. Oh, and some of the urban cities have non-law-abiding citizens who will shoot you for fun >_> But you can kill them with lightsabers so its all good. Avatars can be any species (this includes animals, demons, etc) and are customizable to the point where I had to stop and take a picture of a ridiculously realistic Sephiroth.

The fight system isn't very sophisticate and and the graphics could be better, but all in all, this MMO is very unique, i luv it. :3

Another reason, because there are some really awesome fashion artists who sell their wears there and you can make your own clothes. And we all know I'm a fashion whore.
