I've only seen the series played on T.V. But from what I remember, it was an awesome cartoon- that is, if you would call it a cartoon.

oh god... you saw the dub? ugh... i can't stand the dub, the original VAs are much better. i recommend you watch the show again, subtitled of course, and as soon as you finish you should definitely pick up End of Evangelion.
