LOVE the wild take! Question: is Randy a normal-sized rat? And if so, why would the Prof. want a regular-sized rat as a minion? No offense to Randy, but they can't really be that helpful, can they? Not like mice, whom Disney allows ridiculous stunts of heroism to help out the full-sized humans - i.e. Bernard can pull Cody out of a river (?!)

He's supposed to be about Mickey-sized- his thimble helmet and safety pin are mostly meant to make him seem smaller and more vulnerable than he really is. Also, since anime wild takes often make the character's heads gigantic, among other things, the whole idea of size and proportion is often messed with in Randy's world. Whether or not anything's logical is something I'm deliberately avoiding thinking about...
Randy isn't really at all helpful to the cause anyway, and that's kind of the whole point. He's extremely low ranking, and it's only through sheer circumstance that Blackheart learns of his existence at all- I'm not entirely certain how Randy got mixed up in this in the first place, actually, but I'm thinking that it was beyond his control.
