Me conformaba con estar entre los 25 al principio del concurso, después de ver la participación masiva y de calidad abrumadora de los últimos dias ya no creia tener posibilidades. Creo que he tenido suerte, la selección la a hecho un grupo de miembros del staff de DeviantArt, un poco desacertada según mi opinión, pero me alegro 
Esas listas que dices no tienen ninguna importancia. Están generadas automáticamente por el motor de la web, que calcula el tráfico de visitas, favoritos etc.. pero hay muchos factores que influyen que algo tenga muchos favoritos, como el tiempo que lleva subido o en cuantos grupos está. Logicamente los 25 seleccionados hemos tenido muchas visitas desde que se dió a conocer la lista.
Mi segunda participación (a mi me gustaba mas que la primera) ya no tiene nada que hacer, según las reglas podias mandar las que quisieras pero solo se seleccionaria una por autor.
Yo ya estoy muy contento, he descubierto otros autores que no conocia y muchos me han descubierto a mi, a veces hace falta alguna pequeña motivación como este concurso para que un aficionado como yo invierta muchas horas en hacer algo creativo.

Estoy contigo, hay algunas seleccionadas, que a mi parecer, no se merecen esos puestos, lo siento por otros que podían haber estado ahí.. Lo importante es que tú lo estas

I think there should be several different categories in the competition. Maybe ... digital painting, cosplay photography, 3d, traditional painting ...
It is very difficult to compare good jobs as different techniques. I also do photography but I'm just an amateur.

Ya he tenido bastante suerte de estar entre los 25. La verdad es que según mi criterio no tengo posibilidades de estar entre los 3 primeros.
Me alegro y agradezco estar entre los finalistas pero no estoy muy de acuerdo con las elecciones. Creo que trabajos como el tuyo, o el de David Saavedra o Alex Negrea, Yannick Bouchard...y unos cuantos mas son mucho mejores que algunos de los elegidos. Pero como se suele decir... para gustos, colores.

Ya, eso pasa siempre en los concursos. Y la verdad es que hay que reconocer que la mayoría de los semifinalistas se merecen estar ahí. El tuyo es uno de los dos que mas me gustan, así que para mí estarías dentro fijo. Enhorabuena una vez mas.
