How do you draw with such good lineart? I really Want people to look at my drawings?

The program i use, Paint Tool SAI, allowed me to add a stabilizer. It determines how much drag that actual pen will have. Having a higher stabilizer means the actual pen in the program slows down more so i can move it more smoothly along the canvas. But it also depends on penmanship, and recognizing yourself what you like more when you draw and experimenting and using feedback to enhance what you do. Someone is always going to like the art while another isnt, so being happy with ones own art i feel is the main goal, while using feedback to gauge how you want to go to be better in your own eyes as well as others... its hard. But SAI has definitely helped me. Also if you can get it right you dont even need a stabilizer to have good lineart, some people just naturally have good shit. Maybe its from knowing when and how to apply pressure to the tablet that can register those movements. But regardless I hope you find a way to what you want .w.

i would prefer if people not create a "copy-cat" or use them as a template for their own creations. I view that as a form of art theft because the person didn't use their own intellectual creativity, they're using someone elses. Im not trying to stop you from making an oc but i would prefer if it didnt look like what i've made or look like a "knock-off" version. I don't mind if people use things as inspiration to stem off of and create something that has attributes you like, but can't be related to another persons work. If this could be understood i'd appreciate it... But if you're going to use my art to make what you want,Β im okay with it if you make something that looks pretty close to this , as long as you're okay with letting me approve of it and at least getting credit from where the design originated from to make you want something similar.Β

Jesus. I didn't know the art and oc community was this bad. I simply asked you if it was a closed species and you said "no" so I assumed it was ok if a made a dog/kangaroo/lizard slime like creature as a oc, because thats what I see it as. Im not trying to steal your art , and I'd even make them different colors(ofc). If you don't want people to make ocs that look like this , make it a closed species or some shit. Im not even trying to "copy-cat" as you say. I wasn't even completely sure if I was going to make something like it , I said POSSIBLY. So are you basically declining that I can make a oc like this , because thats sort of messed up since its not closed. When people act like this I really want to quit the oc community and forget all about it. I don't know if this "oh your stealing my art if you make a oc like this or that" is a big part of this community , but if it is Im not sure I want to be in it anymore. Im getting pretty sick and tired of all the finger pointing and claiming things are yours when its just a fictional drawing.Β

okay uhh... im not sure if I was understood right but i feel there may have been miscommunication as I feel im being approached with a rather defensive response based on how you've structured your words to me. And also you seem to be personally going at the art/oc community as the fault. I understand your opinion and your voice, I was just asking for open minded-ness and understanding because you asked me a question about my art and i replied. As a response to me saying it isnt a closed species you said you were thinking about making an oc. That makes me feel like it's safe to assume you are possibly thinking about it, that means it has the potentiality of being a reality. So i as the artist that was approached with this comment, I took it upon myself to introduce you to my feelings and opinions based on my own art i've created that was spoken of highly enough, that you felt compelled to express you want something like it.
So what i said in my previous comment was im okay with it if it doesnt resemble someone else's work. Because if it looks like someone else work that you had inspiration from, it feels like it was taken from said original artist... cause it looks like it... I feel people should be shown respect toward their personal intellectual creativity because if the person didnt create it, it wouldnt be online or seen by anyone so no one would be inspired or interested in its ideas.. it wouldn't exist without that artist. But you just explained to me the oc you possibly want to make would have different colors and look different and you enjoy the idea, which i thought i stated i had no problem about. But i dont think it got a crossed like that and i apologize for that misinformation. I hope you understand now that im okay with you doing this, i just didnt have really much information to go on based on specifically what you wanted to create, so i approached your comment trying to cover most aspects of it. Again im sorry if I didn't portray myself well in my last comment.
I just dont want someone like... say it looks exactly like what i drew... but maybe uh.. smaller tail... longer ears or something but general ideas and silhouette the same... and just flipping the colors... i just dont want it looking as if someone would look at it and wonder if the two artists know each other or they could see a connection and i just want to avoid that i suppose. And even then i said if you wanted something really close it, that was directly related to my art, i was fine as long as it was with permission... so in essence if you wanted that option you'd still basically get your oc... and like i said as well i wasn't trying to stop you from making an oc...
I apologize if I've offended you in any way or if i didn't portray myself well, but I hope my words can be understood and taken objectively so there isnt an issue cause.. i wasnt trying to make one... but im sorry if one has seemed to arose. I just want you to know im not blaming you of theft or anything ... i was just expressing how i felt about you wanting to create and own something based on a creature i designed .3.
Sorry for miscommunication or offending or anything.. i just want understanding or open minded-ness toward my art i choose to spread to the community, because its even easier to just not post art anymore if i feel i can't have a mature conversation that involves calmness and objectiveness about said art >3<
