I had a fill light kind of filling in the area behind her, but after comparing the two renders side-by-side I decided I liked the single spot light better. I find it more dramatic.Related content

This is a really pretty, evocative piece. And I quite agree with you that the lack of a fill light in back is better for accentuating the void behind the model. Really nice work.

I do as well, normally. I like UE for providing that critical effect of imitating how light bounces around in the atmosphere.
