Appearance Detail:

Obviously of Water Tribe heritage, as shown with the cliché Water Tribe traits. Brown hair, blue eyes, and naturally tanned skin.
She wears her hair clipped up at the back, with long bangs dangling.

When she meets the Gaang late in Series 1 she is shown in common travellers clothes. A plain looking outfit that doesn't detail symbols or have common fabrics of any of the four nations.
Though in her past she is shown in water tribe garments.

She wears a hooded shawl that shrouds her face, and she is reluctant to give any details about herself.

In Series 2 she is seen in Fire Nation garments, much to Aangs surprise, unlike Toph who says she "saw it coming.". Katara questions her loyalty, and Toph breaks in, saying that now she knows where the Avatar is she's going to "spill it" straight to Fire Lord Ozai. She then leaves without a word.

After various encounters with the Gaang she apologises to them and tells them she has nothing to do with Ozai, though Toph and Katara don't believe her, and for good reason.

To reassure them she slowly starts slipping her reasons.

Her encounters with the Gaang (that never gets old) are minimal, as she has her own side story to fulfil.
