Description
So, April 5th is when I had the chance to watch the last movie installment of The Hobbit movies.
I was very sad to see it end, seeing as I found it to be very thrilling, exciting and at moments quite sad.
When it comes to the novel by J.R Tolkien, The Hobbit happens to be the book I favor out of the series, as I just find myself
more immersed in the story with Bilbo, than I could with Frodo in the Fellowship of the Rings.
However, it took the movies for me to find myself liking Thorin Oakenshield, the Dwarf king of Erebor under the Misty Mountain.

Over the past few weeks, I had very little luster or desire to draw.
It would seem every time I picked up a pencil, little productivity would result from it.
That is, until after watching The Hobbit, I was taken over with the inspiration to draw Thorin and I am very pleased with how this
came out.
It became to dawn on me that maybe, I just need to branch out a bit in my art and try a few new things, so I'll see how this goes.
I can't promise too many pictures from J.R. Tolkien's characters and world, but I am currently enthralled and eager to see what
I can come up with.
That and I'm looking forward to drawing more of Thorin, who can resist a smexy, hot headed dwarf? *waggles brows*

Though on a random note, according to Richard Armitage the actor who plays as Thorin Oakenshield in The Hobbit, during an interview he said that in relative size that his character was 'shrunk' down to was not the standard size of dwarfs, but taking him down to the height of 5'2".
So by that logic...at 5' I'm a dwarf.
