aww, cute what scares *me* about pugs is their lazy eye.

Hehe. My Dad used to say they could 'stand in Wednesday and see both Sundays.'

Like monkeys that glow in the dark! Monkeys are scary enough already. Pugs are better. I want an Indiglo Pug!

YAY the PUG! I have a soft spot for Pugs. Though I don't think I'd ever own one.

They are horribly cute, but I don't think I'd get one, either. Genetic issues.

Yeah. So many issues with those smushed-in faces. They're also not particularly athletic. And I like a dog who can go and do.

I would like a dog that is a couch potato, but I want a bigger dog. I am certainly not energetic enough to take care of a dog like a border collie.

I don't know that I could have a dog without a high energy level. People are always telling me Risa is very active. Which she is. But at least she gets me off my butt. And she's not too much for me.

Yeah, I think sometimes I should get a dog that gets me off my butt, but then I find if I have one I get aggravated when it wants to do something (particularly when I'm actually WORKING). I hear greyhounds are low energy inside... 'the world's fastest couch potato.' The only difficulty would be finding a place where it could run without going "SQUIRREL!" and taking off.

Ha ha. Yeah, sighthounds are very visual and tend to take off and leave you in the dust. Baseball diamonds can be good though many don't allow dogs there and sometimes they're still somewhat open. There are plenty of dogs that are low-key in the house. I'm sure you could find one.

That's a good idea. I never though of that.

Pugs look like they had a snout at one point, but then they got whacked square in the face with a mallet. Pugs, I think, also have one of the broadest and most human range of expressions of any breed of dog.

You did the eyes very well here.

They are very expressive, aren't they? And thank you.
