...No. Not Bladebeak. The resemblance is striking, though.
You always come up with such interesting designs. The lack of eyes must mean he navigates by sonar or something, right? I imagine that beak of sorts functions as a sort of antenna.

I like eyeless creatures and I tend to draw them and I actually often force myself to add eyes, because eyes, you know, are important. Many of my creatures come from random shapes I usually lay first and this one is no exception. Althrough the final look may be influenced by Pitch Black's aliens.

And eyes sure do seem important to us creatures with eyes, but that shouldn't keep us from thinking outside the box. Thanks for resisting the urge to make this creature look 'normal'.
