*lol* Well, the fur was just a watercolour wash with LOTS AND LOTS of layers of little lines over the top. I used a few different colours of brown/yellow, black, white, and a LITTLE touch of blue for "shading" on some of the darker areas... The whiskers were painted on with (mostly) undiluted watercolour.
The trick to remember is to leave the white of the paper showing through when you want PURE white areas... white pencil will show a little over the darker areas of water colour, and show very faintly over thin layers of pencil, but for the most part you can't get a good white back over areas you've made dark already unless you use a little paint with a very fine paintbrush.
