My first chameleon ^o^
Sorry about that background, I fixed it a little but it likes being bright and out there, but just shows off the camo of this lil guy

It's a Panther Chameleon.
Chemeleons don't actually change colour for camouflage, although a broken pattern undoubtedly helps with concealment. Chameleons actually change colour to reflect their emotions. Males use bright colours to attract a mate for example, whereas most females of the species have a very limited colour palette. Chameleons will be fairly light colours when contented and when they are stressed or threatened most will turn a very dark shade (threatened chameleons also often inflate their bodies and hiss).

It's an Aquarium, it is more in the centre and not right next to the zoo. It wasn't a far walk from where I was staying
