Your take on Han's Summer series is so nostalgic and warm, not like the alienated, modern photo covers at Han's site. (Yours made me want to read the books.)

I haven't read these books yet, but I'm going to the library tomorrow. I've already read a sample of Book 1 on my Kindle, and it looks promising. But, yeah, I know what you mean about the art; did the illustrator/photographer consult the author at all?! If someone is described as having curly blonde hair, then the cover should show....CURLY. BLONDE. HAIR. *NOT* straight, light brown hair. Ugh. I just HATE it when the art doesn't match the story descriptions.

I really love the motion in her hair and the water looks very realistic! I feel her arm is rather missing an elbow, but her hands look good overall
