Anna: A Princess should never run or have fun, she always has to be bored with her magpie like teacher! A princess also shouldn't anything the Old Maid Perfect doesn't like, but a princess should alaways do exactly as her Teacher likes, should it be eating mud or inhaling dust!

Elsa: A becoming Queen should bear herself gallantly and pretend she owns the whole world! Should not be too kind or too friendly looking, even a smile is a huge mistake! A becoming Queen has to enjpy eating small pieces, that a meal takes almost the entire day!

(Lady/Ms/Mrs) Birgitte: WHAT ARE YOU STILL DWADLING? Queen Elsa, the princesses break is already over! PRINCESS ANNA, COME IN RIGHT AWAY! You young ladycan't afford getting sick!

Anna: NOTHING!!! Β I'm coming right away (LaDyMs/Mrs) Birgitte

(not sure if it's Ms, Mrs or Lady)

Yeah, thank you thank you and I'm so sorry, elessal, the reason why I made my blog in Finnish was, that I don't have to stress about English. xD So I'm so sorry again, and whenever I translate my own texts, I feel like I'm doing a terrible job. So I REALLY appresiate that you did this, MyDreamComesTrue. Thank you so much. ;^; <3

They are basically imitating the teacher, and the teacher almost caughts them. She is not Elsa's teacher anymore, but Anna's, and maybe for the rest of her life if Anna cannot consentrate on her studying. :'D Elsa was an easy student.

Maybe somewhere in future I'm going to translate this but there is not really necessary things there. I hope that helped to understand this pic more!

I like the sketchy style, you've got a good hand for animation/comic book art (too bad I don't understand what they're saying ).

Haha, thank you. Tho, my sketches are very... sketchy and I feel like only 50% my art succeed. :'D But I'm learning more and more.

Maybe I could translate this some day, but they are basically imitating the teacher, and the teacher almost caughts them. She is not Elsa's teacher anymore, but Anna's, and maybe for the rest of her life if Anna cannot consentrate on her studying. :'D Elsa was an easy student.

Hehe, now those expressions make sense . 50% is not so bad though, I think there are many artists who don't like more of their works (happens to me too).

Yeah, that's so much like Anna and Elsa to be different that way about studying .

Whoa I really like talking with you. And especially because we seem to share the same idea about Elsa. Maybe?

I like talking to you too, because you like to think about stuff, and so do I .

I'm not sure if we share the same idea about Elsa. Maybe . I guess I can understand your reasoning about her, but I don't really have a set way about how she is, beyond from what I've seen in the movie - if you want to keep it canon. Beyond that, it's mostly just speculation and extrapolation.. but that's not really a problem...as long as the story makes at least a bit of sense and it is interesting, I will like it .

Of course nothing is more than headcanons when we have so little information. And I'm almost sure if someone writes a story about Elsa and Disney makes Frozen 2, no-ones Elsa is the same. I mean, we really cannot know how the corporation thinks and writes her, because there is so many ways to write her. But my own headcanon for now is, that Elsa is depressed, maybe the whole life, she is warm hearted and only wants good to people, wants to get to know more people more but needs alot time of her own, she is not that good to read people but she tries to understand and talk with anyone. She wants to help if someone is in need and she is rightous queen who is not afraid to make decisions, even the hard ones. She works hard (work has always been her help to try not to think her feelings) and too often she takes her work to her bed. But whenever she can, she is with her sister, because her sister is the everything for her and she feels better whenever she is with anna, like Anna is glowing something healing. Elsa is mostly quiet and likes to listen more than talk, but if the partner doesn't know what to say, she talks. Elsa is peaceful, but whenever something trickers her, she is starting getting more and more distressed and anxious. And time by time, even if there is no specific reason, she gets down and her depression takes over. Then she kinds of isolates and gets serious and distressed and you can see it from her even she tries to cover it. Because finally everyone knows when she is better. And when she is really down, it's harder and harder her to controll her powers, when her feelings are too overwhelmed. She has alot to learn about her powers still. In one RP, Elsa got and anxiety attack when thinking about her Mother and Father and their passing, which she wasn't over yet, and she hadn't talked with Anna about that time. So she closed the doors, didn't answer to anyone and nobody cannot come to her, she went in to her room and the room got all frozen. And all the bad thing from the movie came back to her mind and she was so afraid that she would kill someone who comes near and she was so sorry for everything and she even thought that their parent's death was her fault someway. Then Anna came when she had heard that Elsa wasn't alright, for a little while she talked with Elsa trough door and when Elsa said that she can't come in that she ei afraid she would hurt her, but Anna didn't listen and said that she would never leave Elsa alone again. Then some sister talk yada yada some tears and when Elsa know she WOULDN'T hurt Anna, she went to hug her crying sister and then conforted her, at the end she acted like a big sister for Anna, and she knew that things were really better. She knew they have long way and it could be hard, but she won't give up. And then, when the sisters were there hugging each other and calming, the room started to melt.

I tried to discribe as well as I could the RP, but I'm so tired. :'D I hope you understand now more my version of Elsa and I hope I got somewhere near what it would be. But hey, don't worry, we don't need to have the same ideas about her. I AM very sensitive about this topic like you realised back then, but I don't own Elsa and of course my Elsa is my OWN version, we all have different thoughts and routes in our minds, no-one think identical I think.Β  And, like I said, my blog is pretty new and the movie is pretty new, and I know my version of Elsa evolves through time, and these are just where I've got know. And I can't wait to get do more with her.

The way you describe Elsa seems pretty much in line with what I think of her, how she is.

I also like the RP story you described. Even from the quick summary I can feel the emotions, and the sisters' reconciliation is touching, it makes you go "aww" ..like it was in the movie . It is though a bit like I said - it somewhat mirrors what happened in the movie, repeats the basic ideas - that Elsa's fear of hurting people will cause her to retreat and her powers go haywire and that the sisters' love will help them resolve the problem. This doesn't mean it's bad, but repeating it forever might get boring .

Usually I like stories where there is a separate plot, like what if something happens to Anna (or Kristoff, or someone else) and Elsa has to do something to save her/him? Another idea might be that Anna, having a boyfriend now, also wants to spend time with him, but maybe Kristoff and Elsa don't like each other, or Elsa feels like she's in their way, so the sisters' relationship also suffers, or they get a message that their parents might be alive, so the sisters go on a journey to find them.. the idea is, the plot goes its way and how the characters react to situations is how it's defined who they are.

Haha yeah! xD That happens when everything else has done in the headcanon or I just want to do something different. Then there comes AUs! And those are really fun!

I'm REALLY interested about mind and how it works, so that's why I'm so interested to see what I could build and see in Elsa's mind. And I knew what you mean about the repeatible, but now I'm just right at the beginning, I just got my Anna, and we are both very interested how they're going to work their emotions and sisterhood, because with text you can see in their mind, the other characters too. So just now we are there where the little changes makes different. And there would be some drama (oh GOD I love DRAMA!!), like something bad would happen in the ballroom or Elsa has to go to another part of world (and omg there is how she would react to SEE), and there would happen everything. And that why I hope there comes people to RP with me from other Fandoms, so everything could happen!

AND THING ABOUT THIS: someone starts a WAR. ASdΓΆklsdnlnas. And how Elsa would react then, would she use her power to protect her land or do she refuse to hurt anyone with them? AAAAAA you got me all excited!! Too bad I'm too lazy to write stories, I love to RP. xD So I just have to hope there is more Finns, who are filling to RP with their character even tho they are not Disney.

I'm also interested how people think and why, which you can probably understand best by talking, although I also like to look at it from a scientific point of view. Like an experiment to see how people react to something, and why.. it helps us understand ourselves better so we can make better decisions . I guess your way of thinking about it works as well, and it's definitely a lot of fun . I think writing a story really helps you explore a subject in depth.

Yeah, I thought about how Elsa might use her powers if someone seriously threatened Arendelle.. she might be a menace . But it would also be interesting to make her conflicted inside, as you wrote..

I'm not sure I buy it that you're too lazy to write stories, you wrote quite a bit here already . But you probably like RPs more and that's OK, if it's more fun for you. It's just too bad you're not confident enough to RP in English, you would get a lot more people to talk to, but maybe there are enough Finns as well .

I know and I would LIKE to RP in English, but I don't know enough words. I know how to sound somewhat royal in Finnish, and I know how to use Finnish like I want Elsa to sound like, and if I would RP in English, there is just too much anxiety that I wouldn't describe the character wrong because the lack of works, and it's like work for me and I just want to, you know, have fun. I once had an English ask blog, but I just went too anxious, there was lot to do and I wanted to do more, but the language worked like a barrier.

Haha, I write because I don't think what to write untill I'm writing it. xDD Like in the RP, I let my thoughts be so I don't get bored with thinking them already. And when I write long texts which aren RP-texts, I'm lazy to read them again and do the spellcheck, it's just so much work. And I love to see what the other player offer to the RP.

But because I enjoy RPing and writing things, and if my blog has more fans and they like my Elsa and so, I can see myself writing a story some day (I did that alot when I was younger). I love writing those long answers. So it might be that some day, I just have to read more because I haven't wrote fiction for a long time and my vocabulary and flowing text is somewhat rusty. So this RPing is like a teaching method too. :'D

uxv In reply to Tuttava [2014-04-17 21:39:08 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I can understand the language barrier.. I used to have that too for English..these days though, I don't have a problem expressing myself using English. Sometimes it's even easier than Slovak, since I've got some expressions ready that don't really have an equivalent phrase in Slovak. Sometimes I also think in English . As far as getting better, just one thing - reading, reading, reading. That will help you with writing a lot.

It's true that writing a story usually requires some planning, and also re-reading and editorial work, so it might feel like working sometimes. I guess if you want good results, you have to work hard sometimes, like Elsa would .

xDD Haha, I'm nothing like Elsa, expect depression and that is too quite different that she has.

That's just that! That I want to learn to write Finnish more fluently. But I want to learn English too, but with English I'm soooo so behind that it's hard even start. xD

You don't shoot freezing magic out of your hands ? Yeah, I guess not many people are like Disney characters, not just physically, but even personality-wise. They're just idealized, so that people can strive to be them, and maybe imagine being them. Everyone gets depressed now and them, and you definitely don't seem depressed right now.

Yeah, it's weird that many, even young, people these days aren't as fluent in English as I'd expect, even when interacting with other English speaking people all the time. I blame movies/videos and games.. not enough reading going on.

No, no, I mean, I'm diagnosed with depression, so that's why Elsa is so dear to me, I could relate to her sooo much in the movie. And yeah, right now all is good, and I do things that I enjoy. And I'm happy about that!

Glad to hear you're doing good . I think doing things you like definitely helps. Also it's a nice time of year - I'd say in spring most people are happier than in a depressive autumn or winter.
