I’m a little late to the party, but Happy Lunar New Year! It’s the year of the sheep(goat?), and anyone who knows me knows that I absolutely adore sheep/goats. So, as it’s one of my favorite animal’s year and I finally got like, 15 minutes free to doodle, have a little sheepy!Art property

Oh no, I'm not actually an animator. I'm a pre-production/viz dev illustrator and designer. I work with animators, but I rarely do more than the occasional story board or rough key framing. Normal that all comes after my work.

Aaaah, ok, I gotcha. Well, welcome to Deviantart! It's a really great place to find other artists and to grow your own artistic skills! This site has really helped me a lot over the years both to improve my own art skills, and even to find work after I finished college! Not everyone on here is super friendly, so always watch yourself for potential scammers or thieves. But I've found most people are very friendly if you are polite and respectful. ^^ I'd suggest joining some groups that pertain to your personal art interests just to help you get into the community and meet some folks that share similar hobbies and likes as you! And if you have any questions, feel free to drop them by me and I'll try to help you get used to the site if I've got the time!
If you're interested, here's a couple of groups you may enjoy following or joining here on DevArt!
digital-artists.deviantart.com… - this is just one of DA's good general art groups, where you can see all kinds of digitally made artwork from around the site. I've been a member for a while and they tend to have very enjoyable, and top-tier work come through.
fanartists-club.deviantart.com… - This group is specifically for artists that do fanart of various shows/games/movies/etc. and they tend to only accept work of a higher quality, so they're usually worth watching.
tutorial-central.deviantart.co… And then this is a group entirely dedicated to user-made tutorials that will help you learn a variety of digital and traditional techniques and skills! ^^
Hopefully that can help you get started on your way to figuring out Deviant Art.
