oh wow i didn't know how many tooth fungi there were, i got the lion's mane on my list already (hericium americana) but these are so cute! i love the hedgehog mushroom

I didn't pick it, a professor of mine brought into class.
It's similar to eating a puffball mushroom, if you've had one of those.

I hadn't either until I took this mushroom class.
Good luck on finding the shrooms and be careful....poisoning can happen easily.
I can tell you that if you find a Puffball north of Mexico and its white on the inside, then its edible. But of course still check first.
