Description
The entity Dark Samus from Metroid prime 2 Echoes. The pose is based on a production pic but I drew my own interpritation of the character as I see it. eg. I added the knee spikes? and little horn things from the original high jump boots. I realize that the arm cannon isnt the same either but I never really got a good look at in the first palce. Id like to make a background to this but Ive gotten rather lazy.Related content

The Japanese title for Metroid Prime Echoes is "Dark" Echoes.
And Dark Samus looks like as if she's barefooted!

It's a bit of a SPOILER, but here it goes.
In the first Metroid Prime, you defeat the final boss (Metroid Prime) but before it dies it tears off Samus' Phazon suit and then explodes. If you beat the game 100% the ending movie shows that Metroid Prime isn't dead and foreshadows its reincarnation as Dark Samus.
The toes are a bit creepy though...

I used a picture from the production art as a reference to my own, you can google Dark Samus and find it really easy.
The original looked squat and disproportioned in my mind so I made my own comparing it and footage from the game, all freehand.

I made sure to be as faithful as I could although I added some of my own features such as the knee spikes and "High jump" boot spikes from Super and Return of Samus.
