Description
Whether you are shattering the Earth or shattering someone's face, this is perfect for the job. Steampunks beware! Your pipes, tanks, and boilers are easy prey, not to mention your giant balloon of an airship! Also a great stress reliever!
Made as part of a project for an advanced design class.
Made from leather, metal, and a bunch of industrial junk.

Thanks! Well...I did a lot by hand, used some machinery at school, made some doodles, and then put it all together. It was fun walking around campus with this on, also part of the project!

Basic is a loose word. I always start with a character, decide what they do and how they look. Think of what they need and what they don't. Try to find said items. In example, a miner wouldn't need a top hat or an aristocrat wouldn't need a bunch of random tools and junk. Try to find what fits. You don't need to add gears or make it look outrageous to make it steampunk.

True. I wouldn't be someone posh. I think a Miner/poorer person would look good. but you see, I don't know what I would need, a miner I could probably pimp out a pickaxe and make it look like a automatic one with valves and gages on it, connected with pipes. But pictureing something being able to are two different things!

That is why I go and scavenge for all kinds of parts. Note when I say scavenge I literally DO mean scavenge. Find junk, never buy antiques, the prices will kill you. Find things that fit, then play! Add this here, take this off, leave that there, and so on. Its like playing dress up when you were a little kid. Have fun with it. If you start felling funny, remember, Steampunk is rather whimsical.
