Description I'm so excited that this is finally online!

Story behind the video:
This video outlines the story of a man who awakens standing in his home, holding a pistol. He finds the body of a dead woman, and realizing that it is his wife, vows to kill whoever murdered her. Throughout the course of the video, he discovers that he himself was the murderer, his alternate personality forcibly recalling the memories of the scene, which he had repressed. The final scene of the video represents the ultimate realization of his actions as his collective conscience forces him down the hall to accept what he's done.

Great storyline, had me captivated. It gave me goose bumps. It's my type of music, and I'm so glad Gary Tubbs posted this clip link on his Deviant Art, so that I and many others could tune in to their awesome work. I downloaded their album "Horizons" to my laptop as soon as I heard it was available to download. Thanks Gary for sharing this on your DA and thanks for liking some of my works of art. For the band - Nice guitar licks, sweet music, great vocals - Definitely someone to check out if you have never heard of these guys!

Very nice, enjoyed the storyline, and though the composition reflected it well. Particularly enjoyed the slow, held vocals it was given, and the bass groove throughout the song. The faster drum line helps drive the piece greatly after the nice lead intro. I do think though, that a small solo or transition joined by drums at the end verse would have been great touch however. Not sure how a keyboardist would have helped it, other than in background. It is very well arranged, thought out, I would like to see the band achieve greatness. Look forward to its future music! From a huge music fan.

Great job on the song itself, your band has come far throughout the years of writing songs exactly like this. This is work and art put to the test. And the music video I just saw was astounding. Hands down the best performance I have seen so far here on DeviantArt.Com....keep up the awesome work....close ups, and other stuff...Never give up on your dreams...ever, check out my page sometime. I might do some fan art for your band. What kind of guitar did you use for the video? Gibson or Other guitars. Keep up the great work. Ok now bye.

Well this is fantastic e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=" (Smile)"/> I love the lyrics they are so deep and I love given. The actual music and sound I really love it and You have fantastic voice and you all have talent!
The store is very complex and gripping and the use of the camera shots is well done, the close ups and high angle's. Also the use of the lighting is really well done, it woks so well with the video and storey line gives it a more dark feel.
It is so professional and well put together, It seems to be world class put together. The lyrics and the rest of the band/crew are brilliant and you have a fantastic voice.

P.S. This is my first time Critiquing anyone's work so sorry if I did a bad job e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=" (Smile)"/>

I have to say the song itself is great and unique. Very well written. the video was professionally done and flawless. The story it tells is mysterious and mind gripping. It makes you think a little as the song goes on. Your voice is beautiful and creative in tone. A shout out to your crew is needed as well. They did a wonderful job of putting this wonderful video in action, and for them, well done. All in all you and your crew are talented and should keep on making the videos. Super stardom is ahead of you I see it now.

A third deep critique of your video seems fit, for a production that shows a lot of effort and organized thoughts. The complexity of the sounds of all of you gathered together, is really impulsive, it is like an upbeat forcing me to pay attention to the song, and the video. Since the first second it grabs the attention and the colours throughout the whole story are amazingly well balanced, like the shadows and lights.

The intensity of the song, and its different parts, make it enough complex to fight all the way along to the top. The notes and words (and tones of your voice in specific) are completely professional and require no more attention... but a never ending passion to keep it up! We all like it!

The close ups are good, and the movements are descriptive. I can tell a strong idea behind the video, and authentic personalities. So there is enough force power for the whole world. Only then some common ideas among the world need to be attended. Any fair suggestion to the looks might be important. At last, if it's about selling you need to satisfy the client's needs as well. You all know how.

So everything is amazing. And excellent. Along the way the changes will always do well, improving perfection. You are an authentic band with great musicians in it, and a focused idea and style. Strong cords and an unmatched voice makes a great combination! Excellent!

HEY! Since you requested a Critique I decided I would write you one. I was watching the video and I really liked how you had a really good balance between the vocals, sound, instruments, video and what not. You left just enough out of the video that it made the viewer think and that is what is really important when making a music video. You want to intrigue the viewer which is something you guys managed to do VERY WELL. I really like the little details you have included in the video, like right before she was shot, the lady had smeared mascara which really added to the believability factor of the video thus enhancing the quality. There was a lot of different things going on in the video however, they all seemed to connect and flow together like a story should. The music really went with the video as did the video with the music if you know what I mean. I absolutely love it. The only thing I think could have been done differently is if you had incorporated a different type of video Technique to your video. Like.... maybe make the video part with you guys singing and playing in black and white and the 'video story part' in color. Or try starting with the camera at your feet, or the actors feet and then go up and zoom outwards at the same time, making the viewer guess who they are watching, what the person(s) are doing, and what impact or meaning it has on the song. Just keep in mind, the song has a specific meaning to every person, they connect to different things in the song because different things stand out. Truly successful music videos leave enough for the imagination to keep the viewer guessing but show enough to keep the viewer's attention. Well done!

Since you've requested a critique... I like this video, I like the music as well. This from one who isn't particularly in love with Progressive Music. (I like to keep things kosher.)

What struck me first was that your music video has points of correspondence with your actual music. Not many artists bother to do that. Specifically the mention of eyes and the gun. My favourite part of your music video is when the dead woman is standing behind the man, and only her reflection is visible. I think it was a poignant move to position her reflection in the mirror so that the crack obscured sight of her eyes.

I also like the ambience of the imagery. The stark shadows of the habitation in which your characters find themselves, the Cross on the wall that overlooks the killer, subtle nuances like that are very endearing to those like me.

Your message is clear, which is good. I do not know if this was intentional on your part, but I enjoyed also the allegorical component of the music video in relation to the song. You sing of single mistakes having the power to upset lives, of needing to know what's inside your own mind, et cetera, yet the video seems to suggest the man is committing the same sin over and again, in cyclical nature - thus summing up the concupiscience of Original Sin.

The music video was very well done. The balance between all the instruments is perfect, very hard to achieve, congratulations. The vocal layering around 4:20 is beautiful and greatly compliments the climax of the song. Did you record every line separately? I think it would be interesting to try having the instruments echo behind each other for a darker sound. The only downsides to the music itself are that the lyrics are very straightforward and the melody is not very varied. Maybe a filter on the lead vocals? ( if you’re using one, maybe a different one? Something with a metallic edge would make around 1:30 sound amazing ) Very good use of double bass pedal, gives it that metal vibe. Now on my 8th time listening to the whole song, I am hearing how the lines snake in and out of the melody drawing the listener into the story and showcasing the importance of each band member's personality and skill level. The repetition of "I just gotta know what..." speaks to the desperation of the soul behind the lyrics. 2:56-3:10 could use a little more emotion because this is the point where you introduce the idea that he is seeking bloodthirsty revenge for her death. Starting at 3:26, the guitar rift goes perfectly with the emotion of the video and vocals pulling at my emotions and bringing out the heat of he moment when he shoots.
All over, a very well put together song. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you, it's refreshing to see talent come out of the states ^-^

The video is very good.
The sound and vocals are uniqe and nice, the clip itself is shot well done with each member getting the spot light, storyline is interesting and makes you want to watch until the end to know what really happened, but I had a bit of a problem with the lyrics.
The lyrics told the story as if I was watching a movie instead of listening to music. No mysteries trying to figure out what exactly do you want to say in this song. I couldn't really feel much feelings, even thought the video had many feelings. They were good and well, but too direct.

All in all, job well done e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/> Hoping for your next single!

I have watched a lot of amateur music videos in my short time on this world and this has to easy be one of the best ones. Not only does every single member of the band have their own little clip of fame to highlight themselves everyone showed a lot of personality and skill. A vast majority of your video had great camera angles, Especially the close up shot of the guitar looking down at the stings. However despite this there was a couple really quick choppy scenes that were hard to make out in all of their entirety. But overall they did not take away from the overall experience of the video. Good job its was really a enjoyable experience

As far as the video is concerned, the shades of dark and shadow match the metal sound well.

The drum technique is impressive, with double bass establishing the pulse throughout.

The guitar ensemble was clearly well studied and harmonizes beautifully.

The lyrical content is appropriate and traditional.

The vocals are smooth and blend well, but this metal sound deserved some more hardcore vocal spikes, perhaps at the end of the song.

Lastly, the title is mysterious, but maybe too random.

All in all, this video is impressive and the music is pleasing to the ear, but the vocals slightly mismatch the music, which may just be what this song was aiming to do, or perhaps this is the band's individual style (will have to listen to the whole EP to verify).

Job well done. Thank you.

I thought that this music video was really, truly quite amazing! You took a situation, and you made it really come to life. You showed the guy's emotions, and how he's discovering what he did.
It was quite outstanding how all of the vocals, beats and rhythms came together. They all synced really well together.
I liked how everyone in the group showed emotion while singing and playing their instrument. It really did show how much you guys care for music.
I also liked how everything (the music, the people, the guy and the girl, the house) really came together.
I also liked how it took place in a house, because it makes it just that more believable that this can and does happen.

Keep up the great work~! Keep writing songs!! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Big Grin)"/>

First off, the video is very well made.
The protagonist could have been a little more expressive, but it might be a part of the vision of the project.

Coming to the music, the instrumental is really great, with a definite flow which seems to keep you going. The vocals seem a bit of a backdrop, lending to the eerie environment of the song. Not saying that that's a negative for the song though, the effect is amazing.

The theme in itself is used very often, especially lately and comparisons will be drawn.
A solid piece of work, I personally will definitely follow future developments!

Elegant, yet far from dainty. The music in it's entirety was an instant pleasure to my senses. The vocals and instrumentals compliment one another beautifully, neither outshining the other.

I read another critique that mentioned the expressiveness of the lead vocals, and I couldn't agree more. Also, toward the very end, the combination of the main melody with the extra voice was an added touch most welcome.

The video itself had a delightful blend of both story and shots of the band. Being as this is my first encounter with this band, it was nice to see a little bit of both.

I'm hooked.

I must say, I was very impressed by the video.

Tetrafusion combines a powerful mix of edgy and classical, ethereal and worldly, dark and light. The music is well composed with layers of sound to tantalize the senses. There is something familiar about the melody, yet at the same time different from the mundane riffs typically found in metal and rock compositions. The lead vocals tie the overall mood of desperation and redemption. The music transcends to an emotional level beyond words, taking the listener inside the mind of the protagonist. The director artfully combines cut off shots to tell the story of madness and the search for the truth. But at what expense is it discovered? The horrifying realization of a repressed memory. Bravo.

The group is really impressive, I loved how the man himself is crazy to the music. The video makes a good match with the lyrics and melody. Very good job. The fabulous guitar chords, drums and other extras are impressive, but the singing is stellar. I really liked. I give a 9.The only thing I would change would be the home game was not quite the scene. The makeup of the girl should be a little darker and should be a little less blurred, as it is very exaggerated. The shot of the impact on me, I really liked, but you should give more rope to such scenes, as it is what attracts the attention of the video, is based on the murder video. For the rest, I loved the song, I keep listening. You are amazing. Keep it up guys. I feel the spelling, since I can not write much in English use a translator. I hope my review will serve as something. A big kiss.

Very original.
Drums: Quite good. The mark of a skilled drummer is the ability to play rythm, harmony, and transitions all at once, or seperately. Kudos for the 32nd notes, by the way.

Lead Singer: You have and extremely photogenic and expressive face, which is a very nice quality for a singer. Great job on the lyrics.
I really enjoyed the opera-like quality of your voice, and the vocal harmonies tie the song together nicely

Bass: Wow. Solid like a rock. You kept the song moving, and really gave the music a beating heart.

Guitar: Particularly nice job writing those solos. Everything was well coordinated, and your playing gave an extremely pleasant tone to the song overall, while retaining that 'bleeding heart' tone.

Filming: A song can easily be undone by the bad filming of a music video. But the masterful touch applied to this filming really carried the story along, a visual feast.

Overall: Very good! One thing to watch out for: From now on, everyone will hold up your new songs to this song, as well as Last Chance. Make sure not to dissappoint them, or you will lose your fanbase. Fortunately, I sincerely doubt that will ever happen.

You are all extremely talented, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Many thanks!

I listened to the song and it is very good.

The intro kinda made me think, hmm another typical metallica style clone, but as I listened to more, it developed into a more progressive style and the composition of the song has been done really well.

i can't help thinking though that the intro could use some of those epic keyboard string sounds to give it a full frontal boost.

The guitarist is very good but I felt he could have really let rip with a roaring solo in there somewhere, instead it kinda plods along albeit very well played nonetheless.

i don't understand the youtuber who made bad comment about the vocalist, he's pretty good actually, his heart is definitely in it could perhaps just bring it from the diaphragm a bit more.

A very clean voice though, distinctly different and refreshing.

I can't fault the rhythm section, bass and drums go very well and it's a very tight output.

I hope you do really well. very promising stuff!
