This one is a wolf spider. Basically harmless. Very common in the U.S. Called Wolf spiders because they travel across land hunting for food instead of waiting in a web. Their bite is no worse than a bee sting. Unless of course you're allergic, then you're in trouble! My cats enjoy chewing on these when they find them. Must be tasty cat food!!

Thanks again, I wasn't sure on this one either. Now that would be fun to see...I have never seen a cat eat one of these.

It was about the size of a 50 cent piece! It was one of the biggest I have seen in awhile.
