This past weekend we went to the little (not so little) local con known as Fan Expo Vancouver. Only went for the Saturday and Sunday so we opted for something easy and comfy, and after much successful scrounging at Value Village, I present to you, my awesome Firefly crew!

It was an awesome weekend! I LOVE that my Mom got to come! I keep telling people I get my geek legitimately! Now maybe people will believe me! Lol

In all my years of cosplays and cons though, I have to say, this is the first time I've ever gotten a celebrities autograph and a photo with one. Got Karl Urban's autograph (I peed a little and was happy in the pants all day) and the whole crew of us got a photo with Inara herself, Morena Baccarin. So much awesome. Even attended a couple of panels for the first time in ever. I never usually bother but we sat in on Bruce Campbell and Karl Urban's Q&A's. All in all such a fun weekend geeking out with my little derpy family. <3

Everyone kinda took care of their own outfits other than that. Momma even made herself a shotgun out of a 2x4 in my dad's shop. lol

Also, fun fact, my Kaylee patches cost more than the entire rest of the outfit combined. XD Go figure~!
