Based on Nanab Berries

"Monana have an acute resemblance to a Nanab Berry, and even has a similar smell! In the jungle, a colony of Monana will live atop large Nanab Berry trees, with a single Monana acting as the colony's leader."

Monana was designed after realizing that a Nanab berry could work as the head of a monkey. It being part normal-type was due to the Nanab berry having no real battle effect, and I tend to reflect the things I base my fakemon on onto the fakemon itself.
