If it were us, would you stand by as hundreds of us died? As our home got filled with garbage, and the air we breathed was black and toxic, would we still do nothing? would others do nothing? take action. for we may not be aware, but the spill's effects are damaging- we can help.Last minute submission to yuumei's oil spill contest. Actually, I think I have gone over time. However, this idea has been stuck in my mind forever, and I wanted to draw it out.
Remember that huge oil spill that happened kind of a while ago? Well it's not over. The oil still in our waters, and it only just recently stopped spilling.
Currently, it has killed many creatures of the sea as well as those on shore. Not only will the fishing industry be affected, but the environmental effects will be long-lasting (think underwater).
