My gunblade is the version from Kingdom Hearts 2 as used by Leon, which is the cosplay I originally intended it for. I opted to use the same prop rather than make a whole new one for my Dissidia Squall cosplay, despite some minor shape and size differences. To clarify, the revolver model gunblade is not just a blade attached to the barrel of a revolver. The gunblade does not actually contain a barrel, nor can it fire projectiles. The piece of the gun portion going into the blade is actually an extractor rod. Pure awesomeness. Lol no it's all made of wood, the tip of the blade to handle is a solid piece and the rest are attached. Sanded, gessoed, and painted. The Griever emblem on the chain was made with a very small table saw. And the chain came from a hardware store, held in the back with a pronged hook. Wire connects the emblem to the chain through a small hole. And there's a few metal tacks in the base of the handle.... and the Griever design was done in sharpie. The whole thing then sprayed with a finish.
