I'm certain she survived. Her defeat didn't have the feel of a permanent defeat.

And besides, she has has shown that she can move herself through other electronics, so why would she need the game disc to stay alive? She has clearly grown into her own separate entity, and no longer needs the game to live anymore.

Thank gravity I'm not the only fan who came to this possible conclusion !! I was kinda confused when Soos managed to "delete" Giffany by incinerating the disc as well .

Giffany could still have some of her disc's remnant files on Soos' computer, despite being unplugged from the outlet; Giffany can control several different animatronics, so controlling programs and manipulating some computer components may be a given. If these files are defragmented, Giffany or some twisted version could return; since Soos probably uses his computer in his free time, the harddrive itself may overwrite Giffany's files to something even more sinister or distorted. Oh, and let's not forget all the other electronics she phased through in the episode ; not all of them had memory storage devices, but they should not be ruled out .

If she were still in town, they'd tell us. Assuming our girl's not gone like Sauron, she'll be back like:

A) Slade (Teen Titans)

B) Stinkmeaner (Boondocks)

C) Adam Jensen (Deus Ex 3 & 4)

or

D) Some Frankenstein combo of the above

That's an interesting idea.

I actually came up with my whole idea a while ago, and it's considerably different from yours.
