I thought I'd d another acrylic painting. This one is still considered small (8.5 x 11 canvas paper).I'm pretty happy with this one, save a few things.
Edit: As always, I have issues with how traditional art looks when scanned. It never looks as good as actually seeing the piece. I've done my best and took a photo of it instead of scanning, which has helped but not fixed the problem.

If you take a picture and then change the Brightness and Contrast in the menu Image on Adjustments in Photoshop, that will solve the problem.

That's what I did with this piece after taking the photo and it helped. The only major issue now is a the sort of "shine" off of the canvas due to a certain paint I used over parts of the piece. It might be fixable with the right lighting conditions, but I think I'll just leave it as is.

Thank you! I've been trying really hard to improve this year with different media. I thought I'd start using more acrylic and seeing what I can create.
I might have to go buy some good paint now if I end up really liking it.
