I did this as a speed painting to get it in for the new year and it was quicker to just do it in black and white. I originally just sketched it out in brown and planned on doing something else completely with it, but decided to do a last minute new year drawing. I ended up just pulling the grays and browns from my brown sketch lines. I'm liking the result better.
