The story so far is vastly different and is more reminicient of xenosaga with how much earthen technology is involved but the gameplay is xenoblade + major customization of your character. So far everything has been about survival and exploring, with nothing major being discovered quite yet from what I've seen. I only just finished chapter 4 but I'm having a blast.
