This drawing was inspired by the Lunar New Year/Chinese New Year holiday, which is my favorite holiday out of the entire year! I love it for the festivities that take place. Of all the festive events that go on during this time, my absolute favorite is lion dancing! I always thought lion dancing was amazing. The sound of the taiko drums... the movement and flow of the performers in the lion dance costumes... everything about it gets me pumped and excited! I was fortunately able to join a lion dance team through one of the organizations at my pharmacy school and it was, without a doubt, the best experience I've ever had!For this drawing, I wanted to draw my original characters: Kazuko, Haruko, Soren, and Kaien.
