You are becoming a background genius. Seriously. (everything else is excellent too, of course)

Wow
Your drawing is still amazing as always (sorry for having you draw more than one character but I'm thankful for making it epic)
You can continue writing novel if you feel like it.
People in the Philippines can speak English since they have Tagalog and English as two official languages. So you can ask them XD
Btw, do you know Filipinos actually do love singings karaoke and dancing (it's really popular up to this day)
So your ideas does really fit them XD
Since they are 19-20 something in 1960s/70s, I've been wondering if they were children at the time when their countries (France and Philippines) were involved in World War II in 1940s. Do they witness the horrors of the war or something bad events? Maybe Masaya lost his parents during these time and were left in the care of the aunt? In order to life his spirit from sorrow, she taught them the way of dancing which encourage him and also probably remind him of the time he used to dance with his parents during the festival. Also, in the Philippines, we usually call Tita (Aunt) or Tito (Uncle) regardless if they are related by blood or not (they can be neighbor or close family friend).
Sorry for long talk but I love history and different cultures XD
Man, your story had me thinking about it ever since then. OTL
But super thanks again as always!

Whoaaa, thank you for the lovely comment! Makes me feel happy for making it better! *o* <333
Masaya lost his mother, who was a nurse at WWII, his father survived. Oh! I do like the the idea of dancing reminding him of childhood, didn't think about it like that. Yet at the same time - Ellie is the same with singing and music. :'D //Amg, that's cool, means Ellie would call Masaya's dad tito and Masaya would call Ellie's aunt tita.
Ah, long talks are cool. I like history and different cultures a lot too.
Thank you very much to you as well. >u< <333 //And thank you for patience, ha ha, took me a while to finish.
