Oh my gosh. This is fantastic.
Prayer is also like a stream. It's not you trying to manipulate the stream into changing it's course--it's jumping into the stream and offering up yourself, whatever willpower you have, to be a part of what it's doing. It's trying to figure out the way the stream is going; it's speaking to the stream, becoming one with the stream, asking the stream to turn one way not because you're trying to control it, but because you're trying to flow with His will, his desire to save and help people and solve the world's problems. It's a way to participate in quenching the thirst of a dying world.
I see that in this picture.

Very nice work.
And it heartening to see that some people are starting to realize that prayer, and in fact all ritual is an act of dedication, not demand. This goes way further than Christianity- as a pagan, I was just as deeply touched by this piece, and your comment.
I also like the eye-like chaotic patterns in this, as what are we doing when we pray, but reaching out to the unknowable all-seeing force of Creation itself?

I spend my time as a biophysist and parapsychologist examining the spiritual, trying to give proof of the other to people who are so saturated with cultural& moral realivitity and existencial theater of the aburdness nililism. I had just finished up reading a book written back in the 1950's by a chemist titled "Prayers effect on plants". Although there have been experiements written on the subject here and there, nothing has sence been so definitive because it involved 150 people using over 100,000 seedlings. Right now im trying to get my hands on the book about Fanghorn who use there witchcraft to communicate to devic powers, and more information on biodynamic from the school of theosophy. I do appreciate your insight, yes it was a reaching out to an all seeing being, the insides of the hands and arms are illuminated by the light, and everything is seen in more clearly, as though this being knows you better then your ownself.

This is quite a stunning work, and an interesting biblical piece to go with it. I like the complexity and depth of layering you used here. The "eyes" are fantastic!

I love the fractal and the sentiment that goes with it even though I do not pray. It's excellent.
