I haven't entered one of 's contests since last year, so I figured I'd give it another shot. I especially loved this chapter of her comic. This was very dark and tragic, both of which I enjoy when it comes to story telling. :3
You may have noticed I decided on using cub Akina and infant Zira. I chose this mostly because when I tried drawing the older versions of them, the image became too crowded and this way it also still has some of the "cute" factor in it.
There is one thing I am going to ask of you all. While I appreciate support, I don't want it going over board. Last time I entered into a cover contest, I got 2nd place which I was extremely happy with, however I got a lot of comments and notes a long the lines of "You should have won" "Your's was so much better" etc. I do NOT want this type of behavior. It honestly makes me feel bad, and if any of the other competitors saw it, I can't imagine what they would feel. So please just be good sports about it. If you like my entry great! If you want mine to win, that's fine to say as well. So is saying you like mine, but prefer someone else's to win. Just please keep it nice and civil. I am not afraid to hide comments if I need to...

I was originally going to portray them at the top, but noticed, a lot of other people doing so, so I had had to change my plans and I think it turned out for the better. It always seems that when I have to change my design, I always prefer that outcome
