Description decided to shift gears a little bit and try my hand at some more clean designs - this is obviously more psychadelic feeling and it works in a variety of color schemes

all drawn in Illustrator

made for Leslie - this one's for you hun

this is wonderful.. the colors, shapes, and boldness of the picture itself.

I like it... but as always there are a few things...

in the upper section (divided by the tree) the sun could've taken up that entire section rather than being cut off in the circle, oval, whatever...

then with the tree... the silhouette it's halfway between stylized simplicity and detailed vector which makes it less clean and/or professional looking... everything seems so uneven... it's not like all edges are curves, or straight lines, and there's a difference in the width of the lines/shapes...

in this one i would think a stylized simple vector would be good...

hhmm, I guess I am having a hard time visuallizing what your trying to say, but I think I understand

alot of the detail grunt work was spent on the upper half of the tree and i can see where things got a bit sloppy outside of that, I think the reason for the is that I used a mouse instead of a tablet
I did try to make this "stylized simple vector" and it comes off to me that way - just with a few areas that need cleaning up - such as consistency with my lines
and the top half with the sun being inside the oval had more to do with balance and framing to achieve the overall unity of the three color scheme

Nice! In full view, the fat outlines are just a bit too fat for my appetite but the use of colors and the composition are great, love them!

I am not a very big fan of vector images, but this one is interesting. The three tones really work well together to suggest the sunset, in that strangely digital way. Perhaps that's what interests me in this image; the balance between portraying something beautiful and the dilemma of one's and zero's.

nicely put, makes me think of it in a way I never have before, something beautiful and one's and zero's, makes sense
thanks for the comment

nice design. ... what if you extended the rays of the sun to the tree so it doesn't cut off in a circle. just a thought. lataa
