A gift for ~ShatteredConfusions because it's her birthday this Saturday! I couldn't help it-- I knew I wanted to do a little present for her when I first learned her birthday was coming up, but at first I hesitated at doing her dragon persona, Shae, because all her other watchers were going to be drawing Shae as well. But then a bolt of lightning hit me and I said "d'uh!" So here she is, in all her glory: Shae transformed into 50% dragon and 50% human! (What does that make her? An anthro? A drangonthro? "Dragonthro"-- I'm such a dork!) Anyway, this is probably inspired by and therefore pays homage to a gift she did for me a little while ago-- which was incidentally spruced up while I was working on this gift!-- of my character, Zelenn, in a dragoness form. A note on the colors. ~ShatteredConfusions has a very beautiful traditional style of coloring with prisma colors, and so to keep Shae in her natural state as much as possible and pay a little more homage to the artist, I colored Shae in the style, too. ^__^ Unfortunately, the background looked so blank when I was done, and didn't seem to be that great a gift, so I scanned it in and embellished it with a star-filled night sky, which I considered somehow fitting. This is why I put it into the "Mixed Media" category. I know it says that the category doesn't include pieces created by both traditional and digital medias, but where else do you put it in??
