Description My second deviation continuing in the design of ~samification 's RPG pirate character, Nellie . This one is basically the pitch for her actual character design, whereas the first was a reference for her costume. Now all I need is ~samification to approve it.

Nellie has become very fun to draw. Brandy's soooo jealous...

Thank you! First, I drew her on paper, and then compiled the sketches into one picture and colored them on Photoshop. ^^

mmmmh i'm gonna post 1 comment for the two submitions else it'd be almost a copy-paste...
i love Nellie's pointy nose, the way you drew her face is different than the way you draw your own characters i think, and even if she looks a bit like Brandy (for the outfit, because she's a pirate, and for the hair) we really can see she's totally different. She absolutly doesn't seem to have the same temper / personnality !
All the poses are unbelievable, full of motion, smooth, life, so natural...

LOL You noticed Nellie's pointy nose!!!! It's true, I wanted Nellie to have similarities to Brandy since that's what ~samification wanted, but Nellie had to be her own inividual person, and I wanted people to be able to tell she was not Brandy (lol I worried most about the fact both characters have red hair. xD). The pointy nose is a main characterisitc I gave her, since ~samification mentioned she had a slightly turned-up European nose. I'm really glad you feel she's totally different! ^^

mmh ? you think pointy noses are typica from Europe ? i don't have a pointy nose !!! looool that's especially what we thing about British people, in France that's how they're reprensented in caricatures

You know, I'd never actually heard of the pointy nose stereotype for any European nation until ~samification mentioned it for Nellie, but it's funny that the British have pointy noses in French caricatures! loool It's okay that you don't have a pointy nose; I don't know how much I prefer pointy noses to regular noses.

It's true! You never know how important someone is until they're gone and you miss their comments!
