FULL VIEW FOR SOME FLOSSAY DETAILS!!!!Inspired by Bloc Party's Sunday , which is one of my favorite songs. Lovely lyrics, great rhythm...but mostly it's about the lyrics.
Listening to this song makes me think of waking up beside the one you love, after a looooooonngg night, sunlight pouring into your room as you cuddle up (nothing naughty going on, mind you.) underneath some crisp, white sheets...then realizing that it's already half-past two in the afternoon. lol.
more marker madness.
i'm having issues with rendering lighting. this was supposed to convey an early afternoon lighting, but obviously i failed.
just don't know how to place the shadows right...and render it with markers. tips are highly appreciated!!!!

I think it's her expression and her pose that give it that feeling. I also like her hair and clothes. The perpective angles are a little off, but I don't mind that, because it's all about the mood.

Woah, that is one great peice of art... manga-ish or not. It's really great. Gotta love all the details, and yes, my best art is always inspired by music. ^_^ But do make a second look at the knee. I don't know if it's just me, but I feel that something's...not right.

hey great art here!!! u did the outlines (and inks) in freehand right? i can tell because of the lines from the background. it would be nice if you used a ruler on them but if that's ur style, its all good. the coloring is great as well. btw, what happened to my rockman sketch? have u colored it already? hahaha... that's all. keep it up ayt?
