i don't really play "songs" and i doubt most people other than myself would enjoy listening to myself play, so i call it "making noise" (although sometimes i do experiment with just plain noise making)
i probably look half-retarded, but i don't care, i just dont go playing pianos in public
i'm pretty envious of those who can make music too, but lately i've been happy enough just plugging my headphones into my keyboard and keeping my noise to myself, it's another thing altogether, far different from merely listening to someone else's music.

You should get paid for your work. You're good enough. A good way to get it out there (if you need or want a tip) is to make greeting cards of your work and sell them to local stores. I dont know what its like in your part of the world, but I make a decent living with commisions, cards and prints here. Its incredible when you get your art out there and people start to request pieces. Sure feels nice. Oh the meowing, thats just something I came up with while staring at a full moon one night. Cats seem to have popped up in my life over the last few months so... meowing seems to be a characteristic of joy and expression among my friends. You know if someone says "hows it going?" and if you're doing good you just meow... um yeah I'm a bit crazy though, you cant trust us west coast canadians, we'll meow at anything

It's a colour gradation i use a lot...but yea, here it's more prominent.
