now for the serious artistic comment,
Not looking at the title, the combination of colors in your shot match perfectly. Excellent work in getting a wood-like color as a surrounding.
The lighting is good, the natural light of the sun. The light brought introduced a new pattern and shades of colors present.

Great shot, the composition is nice and simple so it concentrates the attention on that wonderful facial expression (yes, I'm one of the few guys who understands facial expressions on cats). My only criticism (and it's a tiny one) is that the cat's legs are out of focus. I'd have closed the aperture to maybe 2.4 to keep them in focus. However, i can understand doing it this way, to focus the attention more on the face. The set up also works good, make the cat look like a homeless cat (with the remains of the fire it couldn't light), adding to the almost pathetic look of the cat, which makes you just want to pick her up and cuddle her. Wonderful work!
