With all the super-hero movies out now a days was inevitable that I would eventually post something as well. I have always liked comic book stories as a little girl growing up... and eventually even going to a couple of (what is now commonly called cosplay) events. As a little girl, I often pretended to be Batgirl (for other reasons I will not go into here) but I also started following other super heroines as well. One of my favorite characters from comics (The X-Men) was Jean Grey aka Phoenix.

To get started, I asked myself the question of "what kind of super-power would we most like to have...?" Answer: "Telekinesis" because it offers so many advantages. One of my favorite characters in the Marvel Comics was Jean Grey because she was smart, Telepathic, and she had "Telekinesis"... but she also evolved into a very powerful being later despite the special abilities she already had... in essence she released her unlimited potential I guess. Something we should all aspire to do... So I hope you enjoy my first attempt at modeling as Phoenix from the Marvel Comics.

This picture was created with me dressing up in one of my costumes in SL. I must say thanks to for helping me pick out the costume months ago and to for letting me pose in her SL studio (Thanks Boss!!). Some of the effects in the picture and the background were created and/or added by me after the shoot in post production using Photo Shop (something I'm trying to learn more about).
