)Megamind approaches the tank, then leans forward so that his forehead rests against it. It’s a familiar gesture, one that he often employs when Minion is in his suit, and the fish answers by pressing his own head against the same point, separated only by the glass.
“You don’t have to help me,” Megamind says sadly. “I know I’m... exceptional.”
Years ago, Minion chose the word exceptional because it sounds much more positive than different.
“We’re both exceptional, remember? Besides,” Minion nudges his glowing tendrils against the glass. “I want to make you feel good, sir.”
Megamind considers, then admits, “...I like the sound of that.”

I actually quite like the way it's drawn slightly off the edges of the darker paper. Gives it a neat sort of frame for the focus of the work, and I also happen to like super scribbly rough sketches so those lines and smudges of colour off the edge are neat. : )

The light border was actually a mistake. I had framed it to be cropped (in ps) and decided it needed more contrast. Whoops. But then I liked it and left it that way.
I love seeing the untidy edges too. I get heck from some people, and there are sites that won't let you post like that, but I love seeing that it's ART!

Oh, how sweet! <3 I love that you can't actually see the glass between them--- it really highlights the intimacy of the moment. Minion's little curly tentacles are so precious! And their expressions are so warm and trusting. ^_^
