I have this weird sense about me that is telling me something is off about the contrast between the girl and the window but I cannot for the life of me pinpoint what it is. I know that if the girl were to stand on her own without the dark of the windows reflection she would definitely be lost in the white. But it's the mixture of the black stripes and soft blues accompanied by the dark window that's saving her. But! I still have this feeling. It's like she wants to sink into the background so bad but that window is anchoring her there and keeping her afloat in the scene. Perhaps it's even the warmth of the red tint on the window coupled with the cool blues on the area she's leaning against that's subconsciously helping to pull everything together. It's fighting on a very subtle level which is almost killing the photo but it's definitely on that edge of being perfect. I think for that alone that you managed to find such a perfect, if not shaky, balance to keep this together is impeccable. I don't like to gush and I do my best to find and give advice about flaws in a piece but this one really just has me captivated on a much smaller scale than a lot of pieces aim for. Well done!
