yes, i REALLY prefer the "old" style of the anime too, like it was in 1988/89... Even if i ever draw characters from Lost Canvas someday, i think i'll try to "arakise" them...

the anime of Lost Canvas is much better realised than the ova's from the toei, but that's all...
But the character design or the music...

That's actually sad that the original didn't get what it deserved - which means the same or even better quality. It would be awesome if it was like 'Tenkai Hen'.
It's all Kurumada's fault, because he kicked out the original staff from doing the OVAs because the movie which he had set by himself was not 'good enough' for him (for staff working only on the material in three pages of Next Demension it was perfect enough...).
