yes, so do i, but from time to time i do and most of the times it feels good in the end... one trick is, to put things into cardboard boxes on the attic - "aus den augen, aus dem sinn" is a german saying - like: out of the eye, out of the mind...

That's what I mean!......We have a favourite toy day at school...Of course the children's are all new...but the parents ..and the teachers bring in some old things....bears with no fur left...and toy cars with no paint on them etc,
Toy fairs are good ...Old toys sell for alot....Your GI Joes might be worth something...

You can get the French version anywhere, and in Quebec everything is French.

We could do with more books in other languages.The English people are very lazy about learning other languages.They think everybody should speak English....I did French and Spanish at school....but unless you choose languages at university you never do them again...unless you need them!My father had to do Latin because he was a pharmacist...and everything had Latin names.

Yes, I've been bilingual since I was 4. Being French in an English environment (Ontario) makes you learn a second language fast.

I have a cousin who married an Italian...They now have an Italian Restaurant ...in the village nearby...When I hear them speaking Italian I think..Shall I learn Italian....but as my French ..and Spanish are not wonderful I think not....It's much better to start learning a language as a child!..You were so lucky Marc!

Even more so if they are in a poor area...and roaming around the streets unsupervised!....We frequently get little visitors crossing roads and coming through the playground to see their family members!!...It's not unusual to have one for most of the day!....One who comes frequently is only 3 years old!...He brings his football!!

Yes,Frequently!...His mother is either in bed...or talking in the back garden and he leaves by the front entrance!!!!....One day I was still at school waiting for someone to pick up Rosie..A gorgeous little girl...She got very worried because all her friends had gone ages ago.Nobody came so I walked her up to her house.Mother and Father had been caught in a traffic jam having been out for the day.Father was just about to see about coming for Rosie.They were having a cup of tea.......They were not worried about her.They hadn't even phoned school..She was worried about them....Sometimes I could strangle some parents!!!
