it's funny thinking of this scene and remembering the Mary Martin peter pan movie where peter then pretends to be a woman which is so meta cause Mary Martin (a woman) does play peter. So in that scene its a woman pretending to be a boy pretending to be a woman. In fact its a Victor Victoria level of meta. Though I guess we'll see if that plot point was only in the stage version.
