This was wonderful, I was in a bit of a bad mood but this brighten my day! Thank you so much for this, may I ask have you been drawing for long? I've always wanted to learn how to draw well, and I know it needs practice but I never know how to start

I'm glad this helped you feel better. I love making people happy, because it makes me feel happy
Now about drawing, I was mostly self-taught until I reached high school. Back when I was in elementary and junior high, the art classes were removed due to budget cuts, so I didn't get much art experience unless we did a one-day group activity involving crafts. The rest of the school years were study study study >n< So I was mostly drawing goofy looking animals and stick figures in my free time at home lol But you know what? As long as you keep at it, as long as you STAY DETERMINED, you will grow! You're always evolving, even if it may not look that way at first. If there's something you want to accomplish in drawing, set it as your goal and practice! Gather as many references and tutorials as you can. Use them as a guide to help you hone in your abilities! But be sure to also take breaks too, hee hee
Now this is important. Do not, I repeat, do not make your expectations too high because it can really damage your stamina in drawing. It's happened to me a lot of the time and nearly caused me to stop drawing completely. What made the damage worse was when I compared myself to other surrounding artists. It's great to admire other people's work, but it's not healthy if you start comparing yourself to them and say "I'll never be as good as them". The thing is everyone starts at different levels, and some grow a little faster than others. That's what makes each artist so special. So don't expect to be perfect when you start. Just know that it is only the beginning of your growth! I really do hope this helps in some way

Thank you so much for your wonderful words! And it really helps me so thank you!
I do draw sometimes, like whenever I give out cards I draw something in them for the people and at the moment, nature and animals seem to be a way I can go, I can't draw much else. And I can only draw things that have been drawn before, if you understand? I mean I can't really draw my own stuff yet. But hopefully I get on with it when I practice.
Faces, feet, hands, noses are all things that I'm bad at but I will try and practice. XD
But thank you so much for the advice!

It's alright I couldn't draw something from my head either. I would observe screenshots from tv shows found online, and I tried to draw what I saw on paper. I did that a lot when I got more involved in drawing, and it really helped! Doing it over and over again, I could eventually draw my own scenes and remember what certain characters looked like.
When it comes to drawing your own characters, I don't really know what to say about it. I mean, people create their own characters in different ways. I drew my own first character back in 4th grade. It was a hamster. He was inspired by a pet hamster I had at the time. His personality [as well as some adventures he had when he somehow escaped from his cage xD] motivated me to create the character and make comic strips of his adventures! Of course, he turned out having a heart shaped head and a pig nose when I first drew him... lol But his design has changed the more I drew the guy. >w< Here, I'll show you an example of his development. It's so much fun looking through several drawings on characters. It's like looking through family photos of a child's growth. sta.sh/08yji2oouwc
Yeah those seem to be everybody's troubles xD I'm still having trouble with head angles and noses. Looking in the mirror and taking photos of them can help But also look online for nose types, head shapes, etc, because there's more than one kind of shape I used to be horrible with hands.. I'm still a little rough with them, but I can say that I've gotten better over the years, and funnily enough, it's all thanks to Sonic the Hedgehog xD Those characters in Sonic X had very expressive hands, and drawing them a lot actually really helped me. But now I rely on my own hands for reference if I'm having trouble.
You're very welcome!

Thank you X3 The hamster looked really cute! I had use to have four of my own when I was little (called one Peter Pan and my cat Tinkerbell XD ). I also had drawn when I was younger, took pictures of them as well. Though when I improve I look at the drawings together.
The techniques you explained sound fun X3 I remember Sonic too, though I would watch a lot of things years ago. But its giving me ideas of my own, to help when ever I'm ready to draw. But still, like I say again, thanks for the help.

Thanks, oh last question (hope I haven't been bothering you) do you draw online or on paper and scan it? I can never really draw with a mouse or anything like that

Yeah thanks a lot! XD Hope you have been well.
I've tried shading once before, but I give it my best when I have something to do. Though since I left my college, and I gave some cards to some teachers, what I usually do in cards is draw something for them. Sometimes its a symbol of their lesson or something else, like a free bird leaving its cage XD
Have u heard of teru teru bozu dolls? I've made those recently XD looks sorta like this XD

Aw that's too bad! Xd I hope your hand gets better soon! I hate that sort of thing too, like when I feel motivated to write something (I write my own stories XD) and like recently the internet was down and times I couldn't really write anywhere else X( And when I do have free time, I can't really feel up to writing. Weird isn't it? How at the wrong times, we feel more passinate about something that we love doing but we can't over do it, like for example your hand XD
Yeah I usually do it in all cards I give people, like christmas cards, birthdays, its great for practising!
Yeah they do look cute! They were original made by farmers in Japan to get more sunny weather, or if you turn them upside down it gets more rain. Its sort of like a charm and you hand it by your window to get good weather. And since I live in the UK, I think we need more sun, haha XD I've made one recently, for a youtuber, who also has played Undertale as well. I though he would like it, would love to give it to him, not too sure how though haha XD We have recently had a huge storm come over too it was so cool! X)

Yeah it seems to happen to everyone. So annoying lol My hand seems to be doing better now. I've done a few sketches these past couple days, I just need to remind myself to not overexert. It's just so hard to stop, especially when I'm super inspired!
Have you been able to send a bozu doll to the youtuber yet?
Unlike you needing more sun, I need more rain here xD If only we could physically switch weather conditions, haha

Gald your hand is feeling better. Best not to go over board with the drawing till it feels easier. I understand the need to draw, it's the same with my writing, and since I've got nothing to do tomorrow, I try and get back into writing.
No I haven't been able to give it to him yet. He lives in Ireland, that isn't too far from UK. But one: I don't know his address, and two: he won't make a P.O Box because he knows there would be so much stuff flooding in and he doesn't want to trouble the post office people.
He's even gone to some events in America as well, too bad I don't have money to go out there to give it to him X( But hopefully one day. Have you heard of him? He's called Jacksepticeye. He's done a really good walkthrough of undertale. Man, that game looks so fun to play! I would love to play it! XD
Why don't you make a bozu doll? If you turn it upside down and hang it like that, it's suppose to make more rain than sun.

Oh really! That's really cool to find out that you played it after watching him XD I'm used to just watching gaming videos, but I would love to do the stuff he does. And much more, gaming isn't everything in my life! I would love to buy Undertale (why am I broke...T_T) To be honest, when I first watched him I wasn't fond of him, but now I'm literally reading fanfic's of him XD Yeah I love the voice acting too, I love doing that. It's fun X) I haven't watched the pacifist side of it, hope you had fun, oh and isn't there another one? Like good/bad and then there;s a middle if you accidently kill someone but don't do anything else?
I've watched other's play it like Cryaotic. And Markiplier tried but he never finished it.
I've recently played a game, an RPG game that has a few different endings, it's free but I would love to give the guy money for it, it's kind of hidden away because no one really plays it. But its a wonderful and cute storyline XD I believe it's called Imaginary Friends XD

Yeah, I just can't buy things online at the moment. Oh well, I check steam though!
I don't look at Wattpad much, Fanfiction.net and archive of our own has some really great works on Jack and the others XD They're good, I am trying to find some adventure ones just about Jack (need to get pass the whole Jack x Mark part). But I've been watching some series I caught up on, which is why I only saw this now. XD
I do believe Mark might not finish it, possibly cause he ruined the chance to have a good ending, which is really sad cause I'm he would have liked it. Besides I've seen how crazy their fans get when they aren't doing something right XD It's acually a fun experience, it's why I watch more than one youtuber play games, to see it all differently.
Were you able to find the game? Of Imaginary Friends I mean, if not I can help, if you need any.
Oh yes, there's a art competition going on in my library and I'm gonna compete. I already have a great idea what to draw, if you like to hear about it, I gladly upload it when I finish! XD Hope you've been okay by the way X)

Most are okay, though I'm more for the big stories, that aren't one shots and I like them that have more than one chapter. I'm not good at one shots myself XD
Ah yes five nights of freddies, ive stared doing that with that game. Didn' before. I cant handle jump scares. But it would be scary to play it myself cuase i be in charge of actually doing stuff, rather then just watch. XD
Cool! I've heard theres different endings, but I'm not really sure how to find em all XD
Ah-have yet to start it, whoops sorry XD But I will! I push myself!
My drawing will be with pencil (need to understand shading!) and I be drawing an autumn woods background, with a little stream coming towards us and there will be two deers, a male father and his young, staring straight at us. Than I get some tracing paper and draw bars and lay that above the drawing. Its sort of a deep meaning, if you understand.
Just about that all our nature and wildlife is hidden behind bars because we are killing it and trying to protect it at the same time.
I'm fine, just been a bit lazy, playing ds games (mainly animal crossing XD) We don't have much hear here, sure its sunny at times. low 80's? Where-oh right you live in the United States, man I feel sorry for you! Its ok, here un UK, haven't been out much. I've been reading as well, its for another competition (for an ipad thing!) but its nice reading again. I read online though, but nothing comares to a good book! Funny enough, looked behind my drawer to find a book thats been missin for quite a while! 0.0

You're fine~ See, I've responded slowly also due to being busy.. If you do get a chance at purchasing a tablet in the future, I'd recommend getting one like cintiq, or a brand similar to it that's more affordable but still works well, not like the old bamboo I still have xD; That way you can see where you're guiding your stylus.
Yeaaah shading can be a toughie >> You just gotta keep in mind where the light source comes from. You can take a look around you or experiment on how light affects certain objects and casts a shadow.
