Now would be as good of a time as ever to admit I've never played a Star Fox game. So I guess James McCloud wore his glasses to honor his father, and now Fox is wearing those same glasses to honor his father and grandfather?

Possibly, I do know that sunglasses started with pilots though so. . .yeah, there might be something to look at for answers.
