so Ugly yet the Vengance was able to deal pounding shots the Abrams/Churchile Enterprise so much. Tough JJ's Enteprise as ive said would stand no chance against the Polaris.
Indeed as trekmodeler said the Vengance was made to look like a Section 31 ship with no glow from its buzzard collectors or its Warp Nacells and ofc in the movie was commanded by Admrial Marcus.

The USS Vengeance was supposed to be the BIG DARK bad guy ship. It was unmarked, stealthy, and represented Section 31. The Vengeance was a war-time starship, and the design did not reflect the peaceful look of the USS Enterprise.

I couldent agree more. Infact JJ Abrams himself and the designers ofthe Vengeance actualy did take some design traits that were inspired by the Polaris class with a few of JJ's own ideas.
Like for example the eerie dark Section 31 paint job and the unusual design of the saucer.
All those came from this

Except when you look at the date I posted this picture- this image was created many months AFTER the release date of Into Darkness. I was designing the Polaris in a closed forum, and I never posted any images online. The coloring of the Polaris is very similar to the Galaxy Class, and when I was building the Polaris, people were noticing some similarities in the deflector to the Vengeance. So for fun, I recreated the Imax poster for Into Darkness using my ships and I deliberately darkened the Polaris's hull, parodying the look and crazy size of the Vengeance as seen on the poster.
It is purely coincidental of the design similarities to the USS Vengeance. The two ships are completely separate original designs.

ofc :3.
What sets the two apart is their weapons arsenal and the design of their weapons and Β were their mounted.
The Vengeance's weapons ofc are quite unusual especial the two pulse phaser balls mounted side by side with the odd looking deflector dish.
Though the way u did ur Polaris model i bet u made the right idea not to include Mr Abrams's Pulse Phaser balls.

This is some awesome work, Are you using trick perspective to make the Polaris look bigger than she is?

It is not just trick perspective, I drastically reduced the size of the Argonaut to appear puny.Β

Is the Polaris really THAT big? 0_o

Not even close. I deliberately exaggerated the ship scaling so it reflected the scaling in the Into Darkness IMAX poster. The Polaris is actually slightly larger than the Sovereign Class.

I believe you mean the Argonaut. There would be more of a fight than a chase. Plus, the proportions are off in the IMAX poster (deliberately in my poster), so the Argonaut is actually much larger than depicted.
