Can you believe I've been wanting to draw a scene like this from the movie Free Willy ever since I first saw it? That was over ten years ago. It feels awesome to know I am capable of tackling things I once thought impossible. I remember sitting in front of the television, madly scribbling what I thought was a decent attempt at a picture like this. Hah...
I know it seems simple, but this is probably one of my deepest artworks. Anyway, stop talking now Treijim. Enjoy! ^_^

I saw Paint Shop Pro today, maybe once I've saved enough I'll get it..

I am totally awestruck! Not only did you pick out such a wonderful subject to paint, but you made a tutorial out of it as well, and you executed the finished artwork with the best skills ever!
I'm tellin ya, if you ever get a pen an tablet, your work will not only get phenomenally better, but you will cut down your drawing time!
I am gonna have to try doing a portrait in Photoshop now, only because you have given me a reason to challenge myself.
