Thank you for the mention, remember to link to the original. Your work is good and the coloring and lighting is superb. But I wanted to explain tweaking a bit. A tweak uses the parameters offered but should not look like the original render, yes it can have a resemblance but there should be a major difference between the two. To illustrate I did this a teak of the original "out of the night".
Keep playing with the parameters you'll be surprised what you find!

I get it now. I don't normally base my art off off someone else's. I think mine is different enough to be considered a different piece. I would always give you credit. What would you call it? A sample? A re-imagining? I almost think of it as someone taking a photo from a different angle in real life. Someone seeing something that the other didn't.

It's no problem, a sample is perfect. Generally I wouldn't care, but I know (very well) that there are many here in DA that would care (some quite a lot) and I wouldn't want you to accidentally stumble and then leave DA. I've not had a chance (til now) to get back to your gallery,The Shrine is outstanding work and I am looking forward to more!
